About Arya
Arya Natarajan is a science communicator who joined CEC’s Climate Stewards course to learn more about local efforts to boost community climate resilience, and to connect with like-minded people. For her Stewardship Project, Arya created a series of mini-zines on nature and climate, and has hosted zine-making workshops and tutorials for students about connecting to nature and climate advocacy. “The Climate Stewards course offered me a way to really dive into how I want to evolve my voice as a science communicator, as well as develop my illustration style,” says Arya. “The continued connections, resources, and support of the CEC team gave me opportunities to continue working on my project even after the course.”
